Annie Okie's Runway Cafe Reviews |
Rating: 5 out of 5.
OUTSTANDING!! (Yeah, I'm shouting) Terrific food at really good prices, and the service is excellent. Great place to come up for breakfast or lunch. I had the omelet and it's baked in an oven; really good. And the cinnamon roll recommended previously - well, it's truly fantastic. Only complaint is they close at 1400 on Saturdays so go early. But go. Worth it. Reviewed by michael sigman on 2019-09-07 |

I can't believe this place hasn't been reviewed here yet. Great little stop if you're looking for convenient fast and decent food. Located right at the base of the control tower. Open Mon-Thu and Sat 0700-1500; Friday 0600-1500. Excerpt from SWAviator: "They bake their own hamburger buns and dinner rolls from scratch daily. The 1/3 pound hamburgers are marinated in a delicious special sauce, and the French fries and hashbrowns are made with real potatoes, never the frozen variety. Soups are also made from scratch. Additionally, their fantastic salsa, barbecue sauce, hickory sauce, and marinara are all made in-house. Their huge omelets are unique in that they are oven baked, which gives them a wonderful taste and texture...somewhat souffle-like. Pilots have flown hundreds of miles for the monster cinnamon rolls. I have often tried, but have never been able to finish, one of these fresh baked wonders alone. Bring your copilot." Prices are in the sub-$10.00 range. Reviewed by Bill Wightman on 2016-06-07 |
