WOW Diner at Grants-Milan Muni (GNT)
Rating: 4 out of 5.
Bit of a longish walk. Took us about 25 mins each way and we walk a brisk pace of 4 mph. The food and service are good with the kind of menu you'd expect at a truck stop diner. The portions a little on the slender side (I think). The wife and I both had a burger & fries but it did also include a salad. We'll go back when the weather cools a bit.

The Flight Deck Bar & Grill at Rochelle Muni Airport-Koritz Field (RPJ)
Rating: 5 out of 5.
Great food in a sports bar like atmosphere. A bit younger crowd due to the skydiving operation. Airport staff is very accommodating as they greet you as you park and will shuttle you up to the restaurant from the ramp! One of the best on field restaurants in the midwest.

Ranch House Grille at Page Muni (PGA)
Rating: 5 out of 5.
Just a few blocks away from the airport (approx 1/2 mi). An easy walk and Classic Aviation has offered a ride each visit. Breakfast & lunch all day (6am-3pm). Homemade green chili sauce and gravy. A wide variety of stick-to-your-ribs breakfast items, sandwiches, burgers & platters. Check your W&B and DA if you finish your meal. Definitely worth making this a destination!

Pilot Pete's at Schaumburg Rgnl (06C)
Rating: 5 out of 5.
Great place to eat! Great food and menu variety. Second story restaurant that overlooks the ramp. Easy airport to fly into within the Chicago class B.

Blake's Lotaburger at Gallup Muni (GUP)
Rating: 5 out of 5.
Okay, no one's interested in hearing about Blake's. Our intended destination was El Charrito. If you plan on visiting El Charrito, do not do it on Memorial Day because they are closed. Blake's is right next door though and, as Coloradans, Blake's is a treat for us and the only fast food burger joint that the boss and I crave so it wasn't a bust. Both of these are within 2-3 blocks of the FBO. We'll have to try the El Charrito next visit.
