Magoo's Reviews |
Rating: 1 out of 5.
This was our second visit to Magoo's. We ordered a large pizza right before we departed our home field. They gave us an ETA 45 minutes out. For a pizza pick-up, that's a long time, but okay (It was a Thurs evening). We arrived in 40 minutes and it wasn't ready yet. No big deal, but it ended up taking around 55 minutes. For one pizza. C'mon. There were only a few people there eating. Slow, slow, slow, same as our first visit. We ordered three cokes to go. Received three IBC root beers instead (what?). Pizza was disgusting and cold in the center. We are so done with Magoo's. Zero for two. Bad food and slow. Too bad, because it's an AMAZING location. Miller's Ice Cream is right next door and is much better though it's just out of a trailer and seasonal only. Suggestion: If you have all the time in the world to spend, go to Magoo's. It's right on the runway. But expect the worst and you'll probably come out okay. Reviewed by Nick Smith on 2015-07-16 |

Magoo's is a pizza, pasta and sandwich joint with what looks like a full bar, too. We flew in on a Friday night and they were packed and seemed a bit slow. We sat near the hostess kiosk and people were waiting 10-20 minutes for a seat and it didn't really look sold out. Our food took forever to arrive. Waitress advised they chose a Fri night to train a new cook. Italian sub was fair, but the fries were amazing. They forgot to add the chicken breast to my gf's pasta, again due to the cook being new. Daughter's grilled cheese was really good. Diet Coke seemed like it had vanilla added in, it was excellent. Despite all this, I would definitely go there again, just not on a Fri night. Other pilots I know say the place is amazing, so I'll just order something else when it's not so busy. It's right on the runway, approx midfield. Reviewed by Nick Smith on 2015-06-05 |
