Flew in for lunch. 10 minute walk from terminal. Great seafood on the beach restaurant. A bit pricey, but worth it. They open a 11:30. Recommend getting there early. We arrived just before noon and only inside seating was available. By the time we left, there was long waits for both inside and out. Reviewed by Mark Klepper on 2016-02-19 |

Really, if you're flying to Venice, Sharky's is the place to eat. It's on the beach, about a mile from the field, but they have a free shuttle service. When you land, call Suncoast Air on unicom for parking. After you park, call Sharky's for a ride. There is usually a wait at Sharky's, but you can stroll the pier until you're ready to be seated. Food is very good. Unfortunately, I can't resist the key lime pie! Reviewed by Anthony Bowen on 2010-05-04 |
