Runway Cafe Reviews |
Rating: 3 out of 5.
Homey cafe just south of the runway 25 threshhold. Plenty of transient parking in front. Plenty of breakfast and lunch menu options. I had the Spanish omelette, which was large and delicious, and came with fresh avocado slices, homemade salsa, and sides of hashbrowns and a large biscuit and gravy. Average prices and a downhome waitress. Only two other parties in the cafe at 9 am on a Friday, but the waitress said they were about to get busy at "fish time," whatever that is. Only open Friday through Monday now. Reviewed by Russell Robison on 2013-06-21 |

Runway is recently repaved and Cafe is in top shape: open 6 am to 2 pm every day. Portions are large, food is good, service is great. Pay attention taking off 25. Those trees at the end look pretty close on warm days. Concrete pad at 25 approach for runup. Some pilots elect to taxiback on the runway rather than use the taxiways so be prepared to give them time. Reviewed by Richard Broberg on 2009-08-10 |
