Skyview Restaurant & Lounge Reviews |
Rating: 5 out of 5.
I ate at Cloud 9 when it first reopened and now coming back just a few weeks ago it has improved immensely. It started off good, but now it is great! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. They serve true Italian food and it's made by a sweet Italian family. I highly recommend flying in to Williamsport for Cloud 9, because the restaurant stands true to its name. This restaurant is now called The Cloud 9 Restaurant; under new management...pretty good; management is still trying to work out the kinks, but not bad. Reviewed by eric cipcic on 2013-02-01 |

The atmosphere at The Skyview Restaurant is great! It is in the top of the terminal and overlooks the ramp & runways. The food is definitely good, but not stellar. The service has ALWAYS been A+. The breakfast specials can't be beat for the price, quantity, and quality. Give 'em a try!! Reviewed by eric cipcic on 2011-01-13 |

The view is very nice looking at the middle section of the 9/27 and 12/30 runways, so you can't really see people land but can get a look at them taking off. We came in on 30 and had to be careful navigating winds from the hill on the left. Once we got to the restaurant on a Sunday at 1p, the staff was very nice and I must say the fried foods were awesome (I had fried cheese & my friend had onion rings) - the batter was incredible. We were given a dinner menu at 1p, so had to specifically ask for the lunch menu that had burgers on it. We both ordered the "$100" bacon cheeseburger, and it was pretty good but nowhere close to what Lincoln Park (N07) has if you have a chance to go there. Overall, if I am back in the area, I would definitely come back but being 101 nm from my home airport, there are much better restaurants < 100 nm from my home airport to build XC time. Very Good. Would recommend to anyone what wants to have a relaxing lunch or dinner while watching planes take off and land. Prices are very reasonable and they offer lunch and dinner specials. The US Airways flight pulls right up in front of the restaurant. Staff is very friendly there as well. Reviewed by David Sigel on 2009-01-06 |
