Reviewed this last year and still just as good.

Flew in on a Sunday afternoon, live music and great food. Kid friendly if you have little co-pilots. If not then you'll still be at home. The seafood is great and a friend had the Mahi tacos and raved about them. Don't forget the owners brother who made his Cheese burger in paradise famous. His sister does it her way and it is great! This place is right on the outskirts of the airport fence well worth the visit.

Gulf Shores, Alabama, AKA the Redneck Riviera, has much to offer the fly-in visitor, not the least of which is a lively open-air waterside restaurant a five minute stroll, maybe two blocks, from Jack Edwards Airport's FBO. Lucy Buffett's quirky burger joint starts with the paradisical cheeseburger, and goes up from there. Super-fresh seafood, salads, and the Mobile native's own local specialties. Find a table overlooking the busy Gulf ICW (good luck! this place is always packed), and enjoy the music, much, but not all of which is big brother Jimmy's. In the evenings, there's live entertainment. Not the place for a quiet romantic conversation, but great fun. Many customers arrive by boat and tie up for lunch or a drink. Children love the big sandy playground. And the food's casual, but good. It's fun, and reasonably priced. Worth a trip.
