El Indio was permanently closed back in 2018. The new restaurant is Guido's @ The Hangar. It is an Italian restaurant serving pizza, calzone, hoagies, and pasta. The food is really good. Décor is very modern with aviation themed style.

The Golden Cantina closed in 2014 and has been reincarnated as the El Indio restaurant. Sunday brunch is served 10am - 2pm. I went on a Friday lunchtime and the place was almost deserted, and looked closed from the airside. The interior is large and bland, but the desert landscaping outside is nice and there's a big patio outside with a roof and glass wind breaks. There is transient parking in front but no tie-downs; given how the winds pick up in the western Mohave I wonder who takes that risk.
