Excellent spot to sit and watch the activity on the airport (in my case, one plane taking off since it was a drizzly day). Food is good and service great. Still open during COVID

Repeating what I wrote back in September 2010....
Still going strong as of July 2013, and still popular with locals and pilots alike. One of the few genuine on-airport cafes with an aviation atmosphere...they're disappearing fast in this region. Located in a small building around from the transient parking line. Was the Provost Marshall's office during the field's WWII AAF P-47 training base days.
Family operated. They close for a week during summer and major holidays, otherwise open daily from 6AM to 2PM. If you are flying in to MIV from a distance, might be a good idea to call first just to make sure they are open. Phone: 856-825-3200. Enjoy!
NOTE: The place is usually crowded with locals on weekends (which is good as it keeps the place going for us!). Important to note for pilot fly-ins: We used to park in front of the bldg but now must park across the taxiway away from the Boeing Chinook helicopter test ramp...their rotor downwash can be very damaging to light Ga acft!!

Incidentallly, the other on-airport restaurant in the yellow building on the Flight line (Antonio's, I think) closed earlier in 2010. He couldn't make it. Too bad, great Philly Chease Steak sandwiches. Building still empty in Sept 2010.

Flightline still there and very busy. We flew in on 1-16-10 around 1:00. The atmosphere was very homey, lots of pilots and some locals. Food was good as was the service. My wife had one complaint that the wrap she got had to much dressing on it. She said that the chicken and vegetables in the wrap were very good once the dressing was scraped off. I had the P-47 Burger and it was very good along with the fries. Side note Antonio's is closed. Owner could not make a go of it.

The Flight Line Restaurant has been a fixture on Millville for many years. Located in the original small WWII training base Provost Marshall's building and family-run, this traditional airport cafe serves only b'fast and lunch, 7-days a week, from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Menue is simple but the food is good as are the prices and service. B'fast is my favorite.
Millvile was a WWII P-47 gunnery training base and many of the original buildings are still there. The Flight Line Rest. is located in one, behind the transient parking flight line, with it's own parking ramp. Can't miss the place as it's painted up in a colorful camouflage-scheme.
Saturdays and Sundays the place is popular with many locals and business is good, so you may have to wait outside a bit. The building is small but they make good use of the room and the decor is worth checking out....lots of WWII memorabilia and photos from the airports' heyday. Gives the place some atmosphere. Unfortunately, these little on-airport cafes are disappearing all too fast these days, so I firmly believe it is worth the flight to experience this one.
Also, on airport is a very interesting WWII museum around the corner, in some of the original AAF operations buildings. A breakfast and walk through the museum makes for an intersting flying trip. I'm sure you will enjoy yourself!
