Soup on Sunday is a fly-in outdoor cookout with Hot Dogs & Chili, but the fun and laid back atmosphere are second to none. 9VG is a low lying grass strip and is not likely to be open after a recent rain, so they are not open every weekend as advertised. They keep a weekly status on their website home page, be sure to check it before you go. Unfortunately, as of 4/20/13 it has not been updated since October 7. I hope that changes soon.
