Overall great experience. For lunch, the price point was a bit high, but the service and food quality was excellent. Great family spot at lunch - I had a lobster role and my daughter had a milk shake and cheese quesadilla. I will be stopping back for dinner as the menu and atmosphere looked inviting. The trip back to N07 in the evening is sure to offer some great views of NYC as an added benefit. Be sure to let the tower know your their for the restaurant and they will guide you to the front door.

Couldn't agree more this is not your typical $100 hamburger joint. The atmosphere is a steakhouse akin to Redstone. We got there just after opening at noon on a Saturday and were the first guests (by the time we left, there were only 3 other tables - the waitress says it normally is busy Fri & Sat nights but lunches are slow). There are 4 airplane parking slots outside the restaurant and the waitress said there are rarely more than 2 planes parked there since most of their customers are locals who drive to the restaurant. Both me and my buddy had the steak frites. It was very good (especially the seasoning on the fries) but not excellent since it was a bit overpriced at $28 for lunch and the steak ends were overcooked, thus knocking down a rating point. It was a nice hour long flight 125 nm from my home airport LOM and was fortunate to get B clearances each way to overfly NYC on a perfect weather day and have a clear view of the Manhattan skyline! Will definitely come back.

Flew in for dinner on 8/15/09. Food was great, service was great, and location can't be beat as there is some gorgeous CT scenery to see on the way. Just tell the Tower you're going to the restaurant and they'll get you right there. Price was OK I thought - appetizer, 2 entree, glass of wine (for the passenger), and 2 desserts for $90. Go in evening, head S and cross LI Sound over BDR and pick up a B clearance for some sightseeing too over NYC. At 9:30-10:00 pm on a Saturday got Throgs Neck Bridge, direct LGA Tower/Cab, Central Park Crossing, Hudson River South to get back to MMU. Can't beat that!

Stopped for dinner this evening on the way back to Hartford. A nice restaurant which happens to be on an airport rather than an 'airport restaurant'. My salmon entree was $20 but was very good. Menu was varied and ran the gambit from Pizza to sandwiches to full entrees. Staff was friendly, service was good. I'll be back.
