Skyview Restaurant & Lounge at Williamsport Rgnl (IPT)
Rating: 4 out of 5.
Very Good. Would recommend to anyone what wants to have a relaxing lunch or dinner while watching planes take off and land. Prices are very reasonable and they offer lunch and dinner specials. The US Airways flight pulls right up in front of the restaurant. Staff is very friendly there as well.

They have gone to 'Winter' hours (lunch only - see schedule). However, when we stopped in Saturday, for lunch, they were not open. I don't know if that was a fluke or a sign of problems.

Inn at Weathersfield at Hartness State (Springfield) (VSF)
Rating: 5 out of 5.
Nice VT Country Inn, excellent restaurant (a little pricey) and tavern (more reasonable) menus. Call and they will pick you up. Spent the weekend and the food was fantastic. Had trout one night and veal bolognaise the other. Will definately repeat for a dinner flight or too this summer.

If you love pancakes - and I love pancakes - you'll find the best airport pancakes around. If you ask nicely they will even share the secret ingredient. What could be better than eating pancakes, hot coffee and looking out the ample windows at the arriving and departing aircraft. Must try!

T. Burk & Company Deli Restaurant at Smoketown (S37)

I love this little place. Small town cooking and small town service. It's a short walk from the airport (park on the fuel side of the airport) and provides a quaint eating place with good food and excellent service.

Olive Garden/ Red Lobster at Danbury Muni (DXR)
Rating: 4 out of 5.
Both restaurants are part of the same chain - and offer good food and usually fast service. You can reach them through several FBO's - the closest is Danbury Aviation. From there the walk is minimal.

Hangar 1 Cafe at Hemet-Ryan (HMT)

Loved the Southern sweetened iced tea and fried zucchini as a side with any sandwich. The two ladies who ran the tables were a delight.

Those buffalo burgers are as advertised - great!

Rickenbackers at Ogden-Hinckley (OGD)

Excellent high end resteraunt right in the Kemp Jet Terminal. Outstanding view of the runways and ramp as well as the stunning Wasatch Mountains. Decor is beautiful and its very aviation themed. Lunch and early dinner are moderately priced with dinner being more expensive. If you have the time stop here!!!
